Pediatric Occupational and Speech/Language Therapy, Social-Emotional/Psychological and Academic Supports
Services
We are a multidisciplinary team that works with children from infancy to high school. We work with your child and family on an individual basis or collaboratively, within our practice or across settings, to foster your child’s full potential. We service children at home, in daycares, and/or other community settings. We collect data from a variety of sources in order to develop an individualized plan to help your child thrive at home, school, and in the community.
Occupational Therapy
Given the needs of your child and you, an occupational therapist can provide goal directed therapy to improve self-regulation, motor coordination, visual motor skills and executive functioning so that your child can effectively interact with their environment and be happy.
Social Emotional/ Psychological
Given the needs of your child, the psychologist can provide consultation to parents and/or caregivers and if warranted provide some specifically targeted direct therapy to improve the child's social emotional functioning.
Speech and Language
Given the needs of your child, a speech and language pathologist can provide goal directed therapy to improve skills in the areas of receptive and expressive language, language processing, speech articulation, pragmatic language and social communication skills.
Academic Supports
Given the needs of your child, academic support can take on many forms. The focus is typically on learning strategies in the areas of reading, writing, and/or math. These academic skill-based supports can be a stand-alone service with a special education teacher or in collaboration with the team.
